剧情介绍
Gören lives with his wife, doing simple labor. By chance, he learns about the Kilimanjaro, which promises to give “the best moment of one’s life.” Gören’s dull, repetitive existence becomes lively again as he hopes to find the Kilimanjaro. This delightful, yet plaintive, film reflects on the life at old age, moving back and forth between reality and fantasy.
Goran and Kerstin are living in an emotionally distant relationship. Approaching retirement while their intimacy is fading away caused by Kerstin's dementia. Goran decides to make one last trip with his friend Juan, trying to bring back meaning into his life. But things do not turn out as expected.
