玻利维亚富豪聚居的拉巴斯南区，一户典型的花园豪宅，犹如一个超大无菌气球，包覆着只在意上流排场与特权的女主人，成天只知性和狂欢的大儿子，厌恶上流社会阶级歧视的女儿，充满想像力的小儿子，以及一手包办全家大小事的原住民管家。镜头以一场一镜方式摇摄，犹如家庭成员一般，冷眼看着这个上流气球一点一点迈向破灭。

Plot Summary:In La Paz -as opposed to many other cities- the rich live below, which is the Southern District. Life goes on without major mishaps in a large house surrounded by a beautiful garden. It is a wonderful world, a great bubble of comfort, where different personal spheres coexist: the mother, along with her three children and the Aymara inhabitants of the house. The drama surfaces slowly, without narrative ploys, observing day-to-day activities until internal and external forces make the bubble burst. The film relates the story of the final days of an upper-class family, at a time when the country is undergoing social changes.
