Plot Summary:After Ned Hadley is badly wounded in a shootout with bandits, he asks his friend, The Stranger, to assume his identity. The Stranger is accepted by Ned's blind father and his sister, Nell. However, Sly Stevens, who has wanted Hadley's property, accuses "Ned" of being an impostor and a killer, and has him charged with murder.
